Meet 11 day old Darell. Whenever I see something/someone cute, I always say I want to eat them up. Hubby says this is a creepy saying….but I can't help myself, Darell was so cute I just wanted to eat him up. And he had the cutest head of hair on him!
I think this is one of my favorites….look at those little wrinkles!
Over the weekend I had the special honor of photographing perfect little Logan. He was so sweet and perfect. My friend Chelsey, of Mach*C photography (www.http://www.machcphotography.com/) decided to put the pressure on me, as she is Logan's auntie, and since she is so very far away (Alaska!) she asked me to do the honor of photographing this precious little boy. Oh! the pressure! There is nothing more scary than being hired by another photographer…I hope I do her proud!

okay, first off I owe an apology for being such a neglectful blogger! I am in the middle of taking some much needed time off- hubby's cousin is in town visiting and we have been having a great time being lazy and getting sunburned.
However…..something very bloggable just occured, which I just HAVE to share. Not much leaves me flabergasted. I am currently flabergasted 🙂
As anyone that knows me should know, I am an obsessed fan of Dave (ummm, for those not cool enough to know 😉 that would be Dave of Dave Matthews Band.) Soooooooo, sweet little cousin just handed me a card, with her sister (the other sweet little cousin that was not able to make her normal annual trip down here because she has a newborn) on speakerphone………and they so just gave me a plane ticket to fly to Indy to go see Dave in concert with them!!!!! Ummmmmmmmmmmmm, I love them!!!!!!!!! seriously.

Here is a life lesson for you:
when eating atomic fire balls, use restraint. do not eat an excessive amount. ration out the atomic fire balls!
this is a good lesson. take my word for it….follow these rules! otherwise, you may end up missing a lot of taste buds. and the insides of your cheeks may feel as though they have lost a few layers of skin. *sigh* but they are just sooooo yummy!

growing up, I loved to swim (okay…I still love to swim). While swimming with my dad, we used to go on dragonfly patrol. For whatever reason, draginflies would find themselves stuck on the surface of the water, unable to fly away. We would slide a finger underneath them, so they would have something to grasp, and they would just sit there. they would slowly twitch their wings to dry them off, and then they would fly off.
I find them to be one of the most beautiful little creatures on this earth….and so complex. I love the beauty of them….as well as their fierceness.
Much to the dismay of my hubby, I will be getting a ginormous back piece in the next year, and it will be a dragonfly. I love dragonflies- they are beautiful and ugly all in one.
I used to collect random quotes, little tidbits that I had read, heard. There is one quote that I have carried with me for the longest time, and speaks so true to me. I have been contemplating this quote lots lately….

Kulik Photography is currently searching for some models! Sometimes, a photographer needs to shoot for herself, for her passion, to feed her little photographer soul. By doing this I am able to spread my wings further, expand my creativity, and as a result, this affects all of my sessions in a positive light. It allows me to grow.
SO…what am I looking for?

– WAGGING-TAILED DOGS (big and small)
What do you get?
– If I select you to take part in one of these sessions, you will receive a free session with me as well as a free mounted 8×12!
What’s the catch?
– people always think when they hear "free", there must be a catch—THERE IS NO CATCH! The only requirement with these sessions is that you understand that because of the nature of these sessions, you give complete creative control to the photographer. I will decide upon the locations and style the sessions (meaning I will make the clothing and accessory choices, as well as style a "theme" if desired).
How do you sign up?
– easy! shoot me an email at info@kulikphotography.com with your information. Use "Kulik Classifieds" as your subject line, and include two close ups, and two full body shots, of yourself or your child. Include age and contact information.
– if you are wanting a bridal session, also include an image of your gown.
– if you are sending images of your pup, one close up and one full body image will be required.
