Insert Obligatory End of Year Post
This time last year, I was doing a little jig as I bid farewell to one of my worst years.
This time this year, there is no fancy dancing. It’s more like wandering around aimlessly, an imaginary question mark hovering over my head as I wonder “what day is it?” “what month?” “wait, it’s a new year??? where’d the old one go?”
This year has been fast and sort of blurry.
2012 in cute little bullet points went a little something like this:
* Peace out 2011! Don’t let the door hit you in the ass!
* Normal hum-drum every day life
* Lovely annual visit to NH
* Lovely annual summer of concerts
* Omg. I’m a student again. SHIT. I. AM. A. STUDENT. AGAIN.
* Anatomy. Books. Stress. Med Term. Stress. Surgery. Tests. Pressure. Increased level of anxiety.
* No. More. Free. Time.
* That time I almost passed out. In front of people. Strangers even. *sigh*
* What is free time again?
* Did I used to have friends? A personal life? Real relationships? I. Can’t. Remember.
* And to spice things up ever so slightly, let’s throw in a pretty severe dog bite that required an ER visit and stitches and a frankenstein scar and and and
* Wait, it’s 2013? For real? FOR REAL?
When did that happen???
And because I recently received a kick-ass guilt trip/scolding on letting my camera collect dust, I took approximately 17 photos in the year 2012. Here are the last two.
